Sometimes flaws and quirks in the system that are initially thought to stem from the control panel are caused by the age of the instrumentation; by calibrating the instrumentation much frustration can be avoided. Sometimes problems have been ‘accepted’ by the users, which is unnecessary as sound solutions and alternative options are available.

As an additional service we can make a CD back-up of your processor card EPROMS. These contain your site specific data, like used algorithms, screens etc. If Eprom failure occurs with no back-up, there is no alternative but a complete control system upgrade, which takes approximately 9 month including a unscheduled investment. If this occurs with a back-up you are back in service within a few days. If Speedtronic.com makes your back-up we can ship a new Eprom, or install it for you.

To be able to make a back-up, the simplex units need to be down for at least 24 hour, so that the cooldown sequence is expired. The triple redundant units just need to be in a shutdown mode.

We will make a back-up as well of your sequence, control constants and memory locations, so that a complete recovery is possible.
